01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Düsseldorf’s Schadow Arkaden, Tabouleh offers an authentic taste of Lebanon that beckons both locals and visitors alike. This Lebanese restaurant distinguishes itself through its genuine flavors and warm hospitality, inviting diners to embark on a culinary journey that tantalizes the senses.

The menu is a delightful showcase of Middle Eastern classics expertly prepared. Guests rave about the silky-smooth hummus, the refreshingly herby tabouleh salad, and the richly spiced shawarma — each dish layered with fragrant spices and cooked to perfection. The chicken shawarma, in particular, is super tender and infused with vibrant halal seasonings, making every bite an irresistible indulgence. The creamy, flavorful laban (yogurt-based dip) complements the meal beautifully, bringing a cooling contrast to the aromatic spices.

Stepping inside Tabouleh, you’ll find a casual yet inviting atmosphere that perfectly balances the buzz of a busy city center with moments of comfortable relaxation. The staff’s friendly, attentive service enhances the dining experience, making you feel welcomed and well cared for. While the location is tucked away in Schadowstraße, it rewards those who seek it out with an intimate, authentic slice of Lebanon amid Düsseldorf’s bustling shopping district.

Reviewers appreciate the fast and courteous service, with many noting how the restaurant becomes a hub for lunchtime crowds drawn by the fresh ingredients and generous flavors. Though parking can be a challenge, the overall experience more than compensates with its reasonable prices and the warmth of its staff. Portion sizes and dressing quantities might feel modest to some, but the quality and depth of flavor in every dish make Tabouleh a compelling choice for those longing for genuine Middle Eastern cuisine.

Whether you’re wrapping up a shopping spree or simply craving a flavorful escape, Tabouleh is a hidden gem that celebrates the rich culinary traditions of Lebanon in Düsseldorf’s cityscape. It’s a place where every bite tells a story, and every visit leaves a lasting impression.

A delightful lunch and wonderful experience. Didn't know anything about this place beforehand, but wanted to have some middle eastern food in Düsseldorf after shopping. The location was a bit difficult however managed to find it. We had some of the best hummus, taboulleh, shawarma and labs. Each had it's own distinctly wonderful flavours. Super tender and tasty halal chicken. And when it came to dessert they also provided one extra and did not charge me for it. Super friendly and loved the fact that I spoke Arabic to them.

They have good varieties of sweets here, shawerma, flafel and some home-made dishes. The pasteries were good, and so was the Shawerms. I find it cool that they have some local dishes like Hindbeh or Lubieh. A good place for a nice snack.

A wonderful experience honestly. Visited the place as one of our friends recommended the restaurant as a very delicious Lebanese food and so was the experience; friendly staff, quick service, the food was really great and in my opinion the best Lebanese food I’ve had here in Deutschland, the portions were of good size, Fatayer Spinat, Hummus and Labneh were extra yummy.
